Science Based Quizzes in GetToKnowMe

We work we a large number of social scientist to develop new quizzes or integrate existing quizzes into the GetToKnowMe App. Some of the quizzes are decades old and incredibly well proven (scientifically). While others are being worked on. Either way, when you get the results, the results are yours and yours alone. Having said that, let's talk about the data we do collect, how it's used and what you can do with it.

What data we do collect: We collect only the minimum data to be able to serve the quiz to you and to calculate the results. For example, some quizzes may require a gender to either phrase the questions correctly or to correctly calculate the answers. After the quiz is completed, we will store your answers so that you may view the results at any time in the future.

What you can do with the results: Mostly the results are simply for your enlightenment and joy. However, in some cases you may be given the opportunity to share your results with the person you're getting to know. This may help them develop a better understanding of you. Please understand that we will not transmit your results to them until they have taken the test and agreed to share the results with you. You will both get each others results at the same time. (We're big on not letting people game the system. Fair is fair.)

Sharing with researchers: Some scientist may want to see the results of test that are administered through our app. In this case we only share with your permission and you will be asked for that permission at the bottom of the results. IF you grant permission the only results transmitted to the researchers is your gender, age, time the test was taken and the results. Under no circumstances do we transmit any user identifiable results and nor should we have to.
